Whiteboarding Sessions Recap

On March 22,2024 from 10 am to 12 pm, zkBankai held an engaging series of Whiteboarding sessions at ETHTaipei in Building G, POPOP Taipei. The event featured a lineup of distinguished speakers and experts, diving deep into innovative topics in the blockchain and Ethereum ecosystem.

1. Privacy-Preserving ML Inferences with MPC

Gunit and Saurabh, Co-Founders of zkHub, kicked off the sessions with a discussion on Privacy-preserving machine learning inferences using Multi-Party Computation (MPC). They shared insights into the current state-of-the-art techniques for ML inferences, the role of MPC in enhancing privacy, and existing implementations that demonstrate its potential.

2. The Scaling of Ethereum with DA on Scroll

Daniel Helm from Scroll took the stage to explore the future of Ethereum scaling beyond callData by discussing Compressing and blobifing DA on Scroll. He introduced the audience to Scroll's efforts in reducing L1 data costs by utilizing 4844 blobs and transaction compression, offering a glimpse into how data availability (DA) on Scroll can revolutionize Ethereum scalability.

3. KZG/Kate Polynomial Commitment Scheme

The final session was led by OxNagu, an independent researcher, who provided a comprehensive overview of the KZG/Kate Polynomial Commitment Scheme. The presentation covered both theoretical and practical aspects of KZG PCS, culminating in a manual proof demonstration that captivated the audience.
